The captivating soundscapes of Melina Serser draw from an eclectic reach of global influences, from tribal rhythms to dub, trip hop, ambient, jazz, downtempo and electronica.

Hailing from Montevideo/Uruguay, and based in Barcelona since 2019, Melina started to collect records in 2010 and has spent much of the last 10 years of her musical career, refining an own and unique style.

Always orbiting around ambient, downtempo and midtempo sounds, she has remained loyal to that tempo range as the core of her musical identity. In each of her sets, she delivers a creation of rich and varied sonic tapestry, as she uncovers unknown jewels to exhibit an exploration of organic & electronic sounds from around the planet, taking the listeners on a journey of different emotions, sensations, symbols and Groove.

In 2020, she deepened her relationship with sound by studying Sound Healing and Sacred Instruments such as gongs and crystal bowls. This expanded her practice beyond traditional DJing and led her to perform at meditation events, as well as to create Hanuk in Uruguay and Irradia in Barcelona, her own curated listening experiences.

She has recorded podcasts for major international magazines, radio stations and labels such as Resident Advisor, Dekmantel, XLR8R, HOR Berlin, Crack Magazine, Worldwide Fm among others.

She has played at some of the most respected and influential clubs and festivals in the world, including Primavera Sound, Parallel, Paradigm, Boom Festival, Dimensions, Houghton,
Waking Life, Club Der Visionaere, Hoppetosse, Razzmatazz, Apolo, Closer, Fold London, The Pickle Factory, and many more.

Her versatility as a DJ has also taken her beyond the club scene, with repeated appearances at prestigious cultural platforms such as Paris Fashion Week and Milan Design Week.
